The Motorwerk Berlin event venue presents itself as a versatile stage for events of all kinds. With 3,500 square meters of indoor space and an additional 5,000 square meters of outdoor area, it offers room for events with up to 1,500 visitors, but can also be ideally configured for events with 200 or 500 people. The industrial character creates a distinctive atmosphere that blends seamlessly with modern architecture and clean lines.
Thanks to modular room concepts, variable setups, and high-quality technical equipment, every idea can be precisely realized – from conferences and meetings to exhibitions, get-togethers, fashion shows, product launches and shows, as well as exclusive private events. State-of-the-art lighting, sound, and media technology, along with a multi-redundant fiber optic connection directly to the backbones with 10 Mbps duplex, enable professional productions of the highest standard.
Motorwerk Berlin is a naturally lit venue – the ambiance can be flexibly designed: all windows can be individually or completely closed within seconds using IP-controlled technology to block out light. This allows for maximum freedom in creative lighting concepts, stage productions, and immersive event formats.
The Motorwerk venue has been certified as a sustainable location with the highest possible "Leader" rating by Sustainable Meetings Berlin. The certification is fully and internationally recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).

EVENT LOCATION WITH OUTDOOR AREA AND BREAKOUT ROOMS
Motorwerk Berlin is an unconventional event venue. It's a symbiosis of contrasts: old industrial architecture meets state-of-the-art infrastructure. Where electric motors were produced 100 years ago, cutting-edge events now take place – live streaming of product presentations, product launches, or e-sports challenges, conferences and meetings with global connectivity to data centers or corporate headquarters. At Motorwerk, there are no limits to communication.
The centerpiece of Motorwerk Berlin is the large hall on the ground floor, boasting remarkable dimensions. Measuring 90 meters in length, it encompasses a total indoor area of approximately 3500 square meters, thus offering ideal conditions for fashion shows with up to 1000 people, get-togethers for up to 1500 people, seated dinners for 300 to 1000 people, product presentations for 200 or 300 people or more, or trade fairs and exhibitions for several thousand people.
The engine plant is powered entirely by electricity from renewable sources (hydropower). The CO2 emissions generated by heating, as well as those from waste disposal, are offset by our partner Atmosfair. Corresponding certificates can be provided. Therefore, the engine plant can be considered a CO2-neutral location.
On both sides of the hall there is an outdoor area with a total area of approximately 5000 square meters.

CONFERENCING @MOTORWERK
Motorwerk Berlin provides a creative environment for conferences, trade fairs, and workshops. Its open architecture facilitates contemporary, transparent exchange for groups of 200 or more participants, making it ideal for conferences of 300 to 500 people, which include various breakout areas. The main hall of Motorwerk offers space for a plenary session for 800 to 1200 people.

Whether it's an internal company party with 1000 to 1500 people, award ceremonies and galas with 300 to 800 people in a historic industrial setting - at Motorwerk every event has its own individual character.
HISTORY
The listed Motorwerk Berlin building was constructed as the factory site of the Ziehl-Abegg electricity company, founded in 1910 by Emil Ziehl and Eduard Abegg. During this era of technological advancement, Emil Ziehl developed pioneering special electric motors, which were manufactured in the former motor production hall, dating from 1921, until the Second World War. This hall gives the present-day Motorwerk Berlin its name.
The first airships to cross the ocean were equipped with converters from Ziehl-Abegg. Later, the F.-T. generators, also developed by Ziehl-Abegg, were used in all Zeppelin airships and Lufthansa aircraft.
